Wheel of Time TV Series

As per this article from the B&N Sci-Fi & Fantasy Blog, it looks like the possibility for Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series being adapted to the screen is very likely. I had a hard time getting into the books, but I think seeing an on-screen adaptation could be quite entertaining. As always, it would have to be done well in order for such an epic tale to work. I'm interested to see which studio picks this up.

Diversity in Fantasy Fiction

I think I exhausted myself on this topic when I wrote my post about People of Color in Fantasy back in March of 2014. It was the longest and most researched blog post that I’ve done to date. Therefore, I’m not going to write anymore about it right now, but I would like to share a blog post from literary agent Mary C. Moore on her thoughts on the subject (see here). This should be an encouragement to all aspiring writers of color.
